About Me
A former CNN and MSNBC journalist, Karen Frankola writes and speaks about slow, solo travel for 50+ women, drawing on decades of experience. She posts videos on YouTube and Instagram as @bucketlistvixen.
Karen wrote and produced at CNN and MSNBC after reporting and anchoring at local television stations. She taught journalism at the University of Missouri and managed NBC affiliate news departments. Karen then directed internal communications for global Deloitte, ran external communications for national organizations, and executed public relations and social media campaigns for several non-fiction book authors.
She is a Prosci-certified change manager who helps global companies adopt technology and also ghost writes for business leaders.
